Patenting the Banner Ad

LNN: Meet Kevin Rivette, a former Silicon Valley lawyer. Forbes calls him the "Michael Milken of intellectual property." Rivette estimates that Wired lost at least $20 million a year by not seeking a patent on banner advertising.
