Forbes: Assume - why not? - that pop.com goes public within a year. Sure, the business, which will broadcast short films and cartoons over the Net, could be as groundbreaking as its principals predict. But an IPO would command attention for an entirely different reason: It would give E.T. and Jaws fans a chance to buy a piece of their favorite moviemaker's creative genius.
