Red Herring: Infospace is best known for providing directory information and other data, such as financial information, to the major Web portals. But the latest push is toward the relatively new wireless portals, which are set to become a regular feature on mobile phones. Mr. Jain is driving Infospace to become the premier supplier of that information, as well as the provider of commercial transactions to mobile phone users.
