Richard Brandt: The current trend is to lure entrepreneurs into an incubator before they have any chance to talk real money. Incubators have become the new growth industry in Silicon Valley. Bill Gross of Idealab just raised $1 billion for his incubator! How is Bill going to find enough entrepreneurs to fill his lab? Excuse me, I have to go make a phone call . . . .
