Forbes: With just 10,000 citizens and a local economy dependent upon
farming and fishing, Tuvalu doesn't have much need for a lot of Internet
names. When Idealab offered to pay
$50 million
over 10 years for licensing rights to the domain, Tuvalu officials
signed the deal.
