eCompany Now: There's a top-secret car out there called the Torpedo, and it's aimed straight at the heart of the auto industry. Looking like a cross between a dragster and a Rolls-Royce, it's one of the first automobiles designed with the Internet in mind. Don't look for it purring down the highway just yet. The Torpedo is still no more than a concept vehicle. But the company that created it, a startup backed by Softbank Venture Capital called Model E, plans to build its mobile innovations to order, just as Dell does with computers.
