End of Jimlog

For the past two years, jimlog has chronicled the end of the dot com explosion from my perspective through the words of others. This is my last post.



It started on a whim early November 30th 1999 in Boston.


The first day of jimlog two years ago heralded the most expensive domain purchase ever, and probably the absolute peak of the internet bubble. The $7.5 million paid for the Business.com domain name pales in comparison to the order of magnitude more money I spent building the site.

Will jimlog return some day? Maybe. But it won't be anything like it has been for the past 2 years. It's time to move on. You see, The Times They Are A-Changin', at least for me.
