Everyone's talking about Christopher Byron's new book on Martha Stewart: Martha Inc.

Bottom line: "She's a bitch. And a genius."

What's fascinating to me is why this is such a big deal. There are countless biographies on very successful men that boil down to the same thing: jerk + genius = success. Just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she somehow didn't have to make the sacrifices in integrity and her personal life to build her empire.

But who really cares about Martha anymore? Kimberley Seldon has better ratings than Ms. Stewart in Canada, and we all know what trendsetters those Canadians are.

Plus, she's Aunt Kim to me.
