Warner Brothers Pictures' "corporate executive vice president" of worldwide motion pictures quit 8 weeks after a promotion.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura: "I love filmmaking, but the more corporate the job became the less creative it became, and the less creative it became the less joyful it became."

He will now be an independent producer. His first picture stars Keanu Reeves.
