What is the librarian's new favorite tool? The shredder.

Librarians in Santa Cruz have started destroying as much personal information as possible about their patrons in a protest of the Patriot Act.

Anne Turner: "I am more terrified of having my First Amendment rights to information and free speech infringed than I am by the kind of terrorist acts that have come down so far."
