Recalling the Recall

Governor Davis' new budget is a big compromise. Democrats don't want to cut spending. Republicans don't want to raise taxes. So instead of sucking it up and solving the problem this year, he's proposing we max out our credit cards and put it off.
Why? The recall.
Davis is shoring up support with his Democratic base to fight off the recall effort.
