Dean's causing quite a stir with his $300K ad buy in Iowa - the first candidate to buy television. I think it just proves how brilliant Joe Trippi, his campaign manager, really is. The ads in Iowa are secondary to the stories running nationally about the audacity of running ads in Iowa this early. Yet more buzz for Dean.
I met Roger Lee this weekend. He is well known in progressive political circles for his work on fusing field organizing and direct mail. I was very impressed. He's now working on the Dean campaign.
