Al-Qaeda kills over 200 people in Spain's worst terrorist attack ever, tipping yesterday's election to the Socialist candidate, who today vowed to pull Spain's 1300 troops out of Iraq. Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, incoming prime minister:

I have said clearly in recent months that, unless there is a change — in that the United Nations take control and the occupiers give up political control — the Spanish troops will come back, and the limit for their presence there is June 30.
