Louisiana delegates stick it to Fox on the convention floor

July 28, 2004 08:23 AM

From the Times-Picayune in New Orleans:

The Fox News Channel may be Vice President Dick Cheney’s favorite source of news. But Democrats aren’t big fans, and some members of the Louisiana delegation got into a little battle with a Fox crew Monday night. Some delegation members complained that the crew was blocking their view and asked them to leave, with one delegation member shouting that they should take their "unfair and unbalanced" operation elsewhere. The crew didn’t budge and went on with its report from the floor. But in the background, one Louisiana delegate could be seen holding up a hand-made sign promoting "Outfoxed," a documentary that says the news channel is biased in favor of conservative Republicans, a charge the channel’s news managers deny.
