Why do I always cringe when children are used in political ads?

They forgot the part where they put someone on who says "I don't want my money taken from me, under threat of force, to perform research that violates my morals. You are free to do stem cell research with your own money."

Where's that part???

Personally i think puricks got a point there. I think stem cell research should be allowed but run through the private sector.

I also hold the same belief that progressives and libertarians who oppose the mighty albatross that is the Iraq war should be getting a rebate cheque in the mail... one that totals 300 billion dollars, because they paid their taxes and had no say in where their money was going under threat of force and how it went against their morals and beliefs.

Only fair.

The First Amendment does not extend to tax monies. The Supreme Court decided that issue long ago.
