Pundit Undertow

One of the endearing aspects of the Net is that there is no shortage of hot trends and whole new mythologies springing up. Unfortunately, a lot of what gets passed into conventional wisdom is just crap. It seems every Tom, Dick and dot-com has some new business model that’s the latest approach and will change the world as we know it. And some of the new business approaches that are ignored will actually cause fundamental change. So here's my take on five cherished myths about the Internet.
