MSNBC: A quarter of all boys surveyed said they’ve asked girls out using IM, and 13 percent of both boys and girls say they’ve used IM to break up. One respondent said, “Sometimes it is easier to say what is in your heart online. You can type the words and hit send instead of freezing up in person.”
