I think I'm allergic to strawberries.
If true, this is devastating. Strawberries are my absolute favorite food. Now that strawberry season is upon us, I've been consuming mass quantities.
Late last night I went to Ralph's to get some allergy medicine, and there were big boxes of strawberries on sale. Just before putting them in my cart, I made the link. Here I am at the store buying strawberries and benadryl. Hmmm... I didn't get the strawberries.
I've eaten two flats of strawberries recently. The first was 2 days before coachella. The second was last friday. The day after I got both flats my allergies started, and didn't let up until 2 days after I was finished with the flat. I blamed it on coachella, but I actually started to feel better by the end of the second day, only to get worse when I got home (and started eating strawberries again). Leading me to believe it's the strawberries. If my allergies are gone by tomorrow evening, I will know for sure.
Guess I won't be going to the strawberry festival this weekend.
Everyone has their kryptonite. I just wish mine wasn't so delicious.
