Secret Surrender Negotiations

The Pentagon is saying that secret surrender talks are under way with leaders from the Republican Guard. Meanwhile, protests domestically are "disruptive, but peaceful," and protests internationally are growing increasingly violent. While the protests may not stop the war, they certainly do seem to be having an effect on the Bush administration as it backs off its initial "shock and awe" strategy.
