Corruption and Intimidation for 500, Alex
July 30, 2003 7:19 AM
Valerie Plame is the covert CIA operative who was outed by "two bush administration officials" when Joseph Wilson went public on his debunking of the Niger uranium papers. Plame is married to Wilson.
This is wrong, illegal, and possibly even treasonous. But it gets even better. Josh Marshall has learned that she works on WMD proliferation issues. The Bush Administration dramatically compromised the CIA's work in curbing the proliferation of nuclear weapons for no other reason than to intimidate potential whistle blowers!
The White House has some interesting priorities.

Jim,
You are jumping to conclusions. You know how women rave about Shrubby and his "package", which they saw hints of when he was flown onto that aircraft carrier. Maybe, Ms. Plame came on to our charismatic and charming President, and they outed her in order to protect the President from her aggressive attempts to seduce him.
Umm....
Never mind, your story is much more plausible.
Sorry, I shouldn't joke about high crimes. I sure hope Junior wasn't involved, because I would certainly hate for him to be impeached.

If she was truly a "Covert Operative" the two officials that released that information should be "outed" by the press. Their names and actions are a much bigger story then the Joe Wilson's report on his vacation in Niger.

This Administration is not now nor has it ever been for America. The country and it's military are merely convenient tools for the furtherance of private interests.

Jeopardy! last year doubled all the dollar values on the clues. So now the first round has clues for 200, 400, 600, 800, and 1000. Double Jeopardy! has clues for 400, 800, 1200, 1600, and 2000. So "??? for 500, Alex" is now "??? for 1000, Alex".

Wow, even Jeopardy has inflation!
I guess I'll have to admit now that I haven't seen Jeopardy since I've been in charge of the remote.
