I guess I'm a little busy...just noticed Uncovered cleaned up at the Alties. Alternet:
In other Uncovered news. We signed a deal with Cinema Libre for worldwide distribution rights and an extended 90 minute version. We're working furiously on this. The extended version will have its world premiere at Cannes in May. Yes, Cannes!! That's in France! How perfect is that? What will be in the new extended version? As I looked back at the film, it's amazing how well it stands up in light of recent events. It just gets more relevant as the investigations get under way. The first go round, we deliberately left out WHY the administration hyped the intelligence to get us into war, choosing instead to focus on the Bushies' claims about the intelligence, exactly how it was wrong, and why this was obvious to intelligence experts from the get go. People were left wanting to know WHY the Bushies lied, so that's the bulk of what the extended version will "uncover."
