Krugman on FNC: "a GOP propaganda agency"
August 3, 2004 8:24 AM
Paul Krugman: "As the movie 'Outfoxed' makes clear, Fox News is for all practical purposes a G.O.P. propaganda agency." He picks up on the Fox Effect, quoting CJR: CNN "has stooped to slavish imitation of Fox's most dubious ploys and policies."

My feeling is that if ABC, CBS, NBC, etc are leftwing or biased against conservatives, they are at least subtle or unconsciously biased. FoxNews is intentional and conscious of it's slant. The Times has Safire, The Post has Will, The LATimes has Boot. FoxNews has who? Which primetime commentator has an unchallenged liberal opinion? Combs gets shouted down by Hannity and Greta is lawyer with a show about Scott Peterson. Not exactly uncontested liberal commentary.
