"Thank God for TiVo"

August 9, 2004 5:33 PM

The percussionist for the best band in the world, The Polyphonic Spree, was unwittingly responsible for shutting down five gates in Terminal C at DFW airport. He packed his microphone in his luggage.

Brian Teasley arrived home to the feds in his driveway. What'd he do?

I told them we had just used it when we were on Craig Kilborn's show. I still had it on my TiVo, so I was like, `Come watch it with me.' After they figured out I was telling the truth, they were pretty cool. I was talking to them about music. But thank God for TiVo.
