Bush -- "slightly autistic self-satistifaction"

September 23, 2004 9:38 AM

The European press excoriated Bush's UN speech yesterday. The best line coming from France's Liberation: "[Bush] showed that slightly autistic self-satisfaction remains the dominant tendency of American power."

Right Wing Robby:

Does the American flag make you ill when you see it Jim?

Paul:

dark wing,

Bush's policies are un-American. It makes me ill when he wraps himself in the flag.

And exactly why do we care about what the French have to say? The racist cheese eating surrender monkeys have been over compensating for their inferiority complex since Napoleon married Josephine.

Right Wing Robby:

They agree with anyone that attacks America. Jimbo here even agrees with some statements from Osama himself.

There is a new movie coming out. Some of Jim and Pauls protest buddies are in it. Have a look!

Paul:

Intelligence chiefs in five major European countries think Bush is nuts.

http://www.washtimes.com/upi-breaking/20040915-054405-9487r.htm

A few points from the article:

"The insurgency has mushroomed from 5,000 in the months following the collapse of the Saddam Hussein regime to an estimated 20,000 today, which is still growing."

"To cope with the insurgency, the United States requires 10 times the rebel strength -- or some 200,000 as a bare minimum."

"Charting a course out of the present chaos requires an open-ended commitment to maintain U.S. forces at the present level and higher through 2010 or longer."

"Everything now undertaken in Iraq is palliative to tide the administration over the elections."

"The "war on terror" is a misnomer that is tantamount to rhetorical disinformation. One can no more fight terrorism than one could declare war on Hitler's Panzers in World War II or Dreadnoughts in World War I. Terrorism is a weapons system that has been used time and again for the last 5,000 years. The root causes are the problem, not the weapon."

WOW!!!! A "quote" from 5 anonymous sources, did they also have fax their information from Kinkos?

Thu Sep 23 2004 12:26 PM

Right Wing Robby:

Do you happen to have that fax number? I want to be an Intelligence Chief in a major European country too.

Thu Sep 23 2004 12:43 PM

Paul:

The quotes are from the article, which distilled the thoughts of the intelligence chiefs. I can't believe I quoted a Moonie wire service article. I feel dirty.
