Michael Hastings has a great article in Slate documenting even more instances of Bill's lewd obsessions on his show.
He says he wants to make sure American parents know how to defend against smut. Yet the topic of porn is a regular tease for his 8 p.m. audience -- and kids don't go to bed that early, Bill.
David Letterman actually asked O'Reilly, "Do the kids watch your show?" O'Reilly's response: "Some of them do with their parents -- the very, very bright ones, and the others watch yours."
The closest stat I could get was from Nielsen Media research in 2003. 28,000 kids under 12 watch Fox News Channel in primetime. O'Reilly's show is generally the highest rated of FNC's prime time shows, so the number is probably more like 35,000 or so for his show.

Actually funny you bring this up. O'Reilly's been saying $#!T like this for a long time. Got into an argument with Jon Stewart of the Daily Show, claiming his audience was just a bunch of hopped up stoners. Comedy Central took the windbag to task and got this from the Neilson boys...
Here is the data from Nielsen Media Research about the two shows:
* The median age of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" 11:00 p.m. (premiere) airing is 35, while its median income is $67,000.
* The median age of "The O'Reilly Factor" 8:00 p.m. (premiere) airing is 63, while its median income is $54,000.
* Viewers of "The Daily Show" are 78% more likely than the average adult to have four or more years of college education.
* Viewers of "The O'Reilly Factor" are only 24% more likely than the average adult to have four or more years of college education.
There were other points mostly based on money, but since money and education usually go hand in hand, they're moot points. Basically FOX has some of the stupidest viewers out there who still hold 3 major falsehoods about the run up to the Iraq war as truth, so taking O'Reilly's word on anything is like, well.... youd have to be stoned to believe him!

Bill O'Reiley is such a hypocrite!!! People like him and Rush Limbaugh claim to be so self ritcheous and now look at them both, one is a pervert the other as drug addict. The republicans have been brainwashed by two hypocrites, so no wonder they are so stupid.

i'm not writing this to reply to fiberpro, he is obviously let his emotion got the better of him, if he has any, i'm hoping to reach those sensible ppl out there that still listens to reason, not just lies and lies and more lies. and bill o reilly lies too much, its just too much. and he never shuts up, its so annoying, he's like one of those pesky jehovah witness or something, never shuts up, even after u said no. how annoying
