Jon Stewart killed Crossfire

January 6, 2005 8:58 AM

Incredible. CNN dumped Tucker Carlson by not renewing his contract, and will "probably fold" Crossfire into an "occasional segment" on Inside Politics.

This comes three months after Jon Stewart's legendary appearance on the show where he ripped into the Begala and Carlson in a legendary appearance. Behold the power of Fake News.

Of course, The Son of Bow-Tie will do just fine. He now has a show on PBS and is negotiating with MSNBC to replace Deborah Norville.

Yeah, I've been seeing Carlson on PBS. I was flipping through some channels when I happened to come across is bowtie. Needless to say I was quite surprised.

God Bless you Stewart! You've done humanity a great service. I hope you get the Presidential Medal of Freedom for killing Crossfire. Oh wait... that medal only goes to Evangilacal Latino's who think certain torures are ok and Geneva Convention is a part of the female anatomy.

Give Stewart the Purple Heart!

Mike of the Great White North:

Well it's been 8 days since the White House Correspondants dinner where my man, Stephen Colbert tore Bush a new one, right in front of the spineless 'liberal media elite' that allowed him to get away with all his bullshit. Since the MSM still has failed to pick this story up or generate any heat on the matter, the same way they catapulted Imus to fame and glory when he assraped the Clintons the same way at the same event almost a decade earlier.

Funny eh, the lefty media turns Imus into a celebrity for tearing apart the clintons, but they shun one of their own lefty collegues when he devastates the Prez on his emperorness. Guess they didn't report because he also called them on their sheepishness and deriliction of duty.

I could go on and on, but this article sums up the whole kitten kaboodle.

If you read this and come to any other conclusion than Bush has been coddled and the right wing succedded in scaring the fact based community to twist stories to conform to a right wing view so as not to appear biased, then there is no hope for you.

So no more talk and BS about this liberal MSM you tards talk about. It's just not there.

The internet will free us from that dead medium.

Mike of the Great White North:

Speaking of Stewart, i watched him last night as he really drilled into Bill Kristol, editor of the Monthly non-Standard. Ill give Kristol props, he seems to be a really good sport about it and trades barbs with John back n forth. But on sheer logical conclusions, he looks terrible, and John brings it out for all to see.
