John Gibson Hates America
July 14, 2005 10:47 AM
This John Gibson thing is really really pissing me off. A day later, and I'm still mad. He *knows* what he said would get him a lot of heat. And that's why he said it. He didn't do it because he believed it, no one is that stupid. But Gibson *is* morally bankrupt enough to do it for the ratings, and to sell more of his books. He's incentivized to say stupid shit. This is wrong.

Liberals have a long history of trashing America for money. You have some cash you in pocket for doing the same. Pot, meet kettle.

"I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors."
George H.W. Bush, April 16th, 1999
Is little anony-doofus suggesting Gibson is 'helping America' for wanting to give this "insidious traitor" a medal? The facts, and W's own daddy's precious words (which I agree with) who used to be a DCI, seem to suggest otherwise.
Turd blossom better start practicing his frogmarch. Not only did he endanger Mrs. Plame's life, but in outing her he outed the cover company she worked for, thereby outing the whole network of NOC's (unofficial cover agents - they can be executed without repurcussions if found) which used this company for cover. All thanks Rove. Most clear-thinking, rational people can understand the gravity of the circumstances here. It's been proven Rove was the (one of the) leak(s) via Cooper's notes. Subject his ass to a court of law and after due process, send his ass to jail. Period.
This is not "helping America" as she navigates through the dangers of this world (albeit with the equivalent of a blind, drunk captain). Of all people, I'd think the wingnuts here would at least 'get' this.
And, especially being the first post, try to submit something a little more germane to the thread, anony-doofus. Sure...Jim cooked up a lucrative scheme to line his pockets by making documentaries that speak truth to power. Lots of money there. For the particular form of scum that you speak of, look more towards Hannity, Coulter, Goldberg and their ilk for the morally corrupt sellouts who'll whore their words for $.
Not to suggest this attitude doesn't exist on the left, but surely the right claims the lion's share.

Speaking of whoring words for $...did anyone see Stewart make Bernard Goldberg look like a ten year old's birthday party clown last night? A thing of beauty. He almost dropped a crossfire on his ass, but didn't. Don't mess with those quick-witted comedians boy. They'll dress you down and have everybody pointing and laughing before you can even open your mouth to respond.
Anyway, Goldberg was out whoring his new book which claimed, in his estimation, 97 of the 100 people most 'hurting' America were evil liberals(company line - gotta target that uber-conservative audience...what's that saying about a fool and his money?). Now you tell me that isn't more in the spirit of what anony-doofus was speaking of. And there are scores just like Goldberg out there capitalizing on and stoking conservative anger and outrage with a skewed version of reality...because it sells. But man, at what cost? Further division here in America? Evil liberals and radical conservatives?
Only a doofus couldn't see who is REALLY 'hurting America' here.

I just thought of a new fortune cookie saying:
Man with many words, usually have nothing to say.

You could've just said: "Circumlocution much?"
More economical, since you don't like to read.
