Nah. If it existed the tobacco industry would be giving it out to cover its ass.

Tom from Madison:

Well, there is a not-too-subtle war on science being waged by the Bush Administration.

Remember Terri Schiavo? About 28% of Americans polled wanted her kept "alive" indefinitely--even though her brain was liquified. Could it be the same folks in both polls?

King George even flew back early to take care of business on that one. It seems odd hurricane Katrina didn't merit such action.

No, they're withholding it so there are less people trying to collect Social Security.

“27.3% of Americans surveyed agreed with the statement: "The medical industry is withholding a cure for cancer from the public in order to increase profits."- For this statement to be true, every person in the medical industry has to be in on it.

Every person from: The janitors, the night security to the presidents of all the pharmaceutical companies have to be in “cahoots”

By believing this statement, that means no one in the medical industry has EVER had a relative or friend struck down by any debilitating disease what-so-ever and that these people are cold heartless and immoral.

The first thing you are told when entering the medical industry is “DO NO HARM”

This has always been on the societal back burner – but to me it’s an urban legend, if anything I’m more inclined to believe the one about the person who invented a carburetor that atomized the fuel in such a way that it gave a 76 Caddy De Ville about 600 mpg, the big 3 auto makers realized that they wouldn’t sell anymore cars so they bought the patent and have the plans hidden away somewhere buried in a vault someplace.
