Glad to pass it along. I'm actually amazed Paula had the stones to run with the piece. McGovern took Rummy to task and did hit him square in the face with his own quote VERBATIM. There is no way the wingnuts can spin this one off, because they're rummies words.
I can only hope the 'liberal' media can actually stick on this one and grow some balls, but i have a sick feeling this will just go down the memory hole along with the memo, the Aipac investigation, and the myriad of other atrocities the media let Bush n co walk away with unscathed.
ps-actually very amazed that Rummy was lecturing McGovern on what the CIA did or did not know, maybe he didn't know he was a CIA ANALYST???

That's the only thing that would have made McGovern's thing better... if he'd said..
"Well, sir, I worked at the CIA as an analyst, and....."

Just watched Ray on Lou Dobbs show tonight. Wow, this guy is just knocking the wind out of the right wing garbage we've been subjected to for the last 5 years. Things he touched on..
-Reasons US really went to war. He sold the argument well that oil/enduring bases and Israel are the biggest components for the invasion.
-Realism vs. Fantasy. Spoke above the same old BS that just because Iran threatens to wipe Israel off the map does not mean it can/will. Rhetoric vs. Capability.. Iran cannot attack because it does not possess the means to nuke, and should it ever aquire it, would be fatalistic due to an Israeli counter response. It is sheer nonsense to believe Iran is a bigger threat even with nukes than during any point in the cold war.
-The fact that Generals within the military freely admit that Ariel 'the peacemaker' Sharon had George W wrapped around his finger, due to the evangilical base that powers the republican party.
-Stay the course vs. withdraw. Successfully argued staying the course is just like Vietnam.
I only caught this half way through, gonna have to watch the replay later on tonight for the full effect.
