delay talks of un-retirement

July 8, 2006 12:20 AM

"For this guy to say he can‘t tell where I‘m going to be on Election Day, and that I am forced to be on the ballot, well, they may get exactly what they want. We have to wait and see what the 5th Circuit does on appeal."

this story just never ends

Right Wing Robby:

Did you expect an uncontested race? Thats not fair to the voters. If his name is forced on the ballet then he should run for office as hard as he can. And I can assure you, he wont make it eaasy.

Dave E.:

Uhh...Fact:

Delay is the one who doesn't wan't his name on the ballot. You delusional idiot.

Delay is trying like hell to convince the legal system that he's a resident of Virginia and ineligible to run.

Duh.

Right Wing Robby:

Uhh NO SHIT!

What part of "forced on the ballet" is hard for you to understand?

He retired himself. He DOESNT WANT TO RUN, but will if his name isnt taken off the ballet. As he should, as the voters of district 22 deserve.

Why is it that you libs are the most insulting people. Always angry. Always insulting and degrading. No wonder the majority of people have voted against people like you consistently.

P.S. How can the tax revenue be up when taxes were cut? BECAUSE IT WORKS. THANKS BYE BYE.

Dave E.:

Then the opening question of your post means nothing. Learn to write coherently, and you won't have your contradictions insulted. This is how the rational world works.

I assure you anger has nothing to do with partisanship. Must we continue to cite the Coulters, Hannitys, and Savages to correct this misconception?

Actually, two-thirds of Americans are angry because your Dear Leader is, in demonstrable fact after fact after fact, a terrible leader and is turning this once proud, moral, and free country into a theocratic corporatocracy that has strayed from the rule of law.

Whereas wingnut conservatives are just dangerously angry, outing home addresses of NYT staff and ACLU plaintiffs and calling for 'action'. Maybe it's just because you jokers are in your last throes.

And I tend not to celebrate the 4th largest defecit in US history, but that's just me.

Right Wing Robby:

I actually voted for the NYT's so Im fine with them telling the enemy all our secrets? Did you vote for them too?

"outing home addresses of NYT"

Glad your all for secrecy, too bad you dont care if the NYT's lack secrecy means more Americans death.

What does the release the secret programs mean to the soldiers in Iraq? One more IED. Whose side did you say you were on?

The opening question means plenty. Do you expect an uncontested race? One in which Delays name is on there but nobody is actually running, i.e. uncontested?

Do you wake up angry? How do you get out bed in the morning? It must be hard being in the minority and election after election you keep losing. I guess I can understand that.

Tue Jul 11 2006 3:34 PM

Right Wing Robby:

BTW you should never complain about peoples comments unless yours is perfect. You just look foolish.

What is a defecit anyway?

Mike of the Great White North:

RWR
"Whose side did you say you were on?"
-The truth.

RWR
"Glad your all for secrecy, too bad you dont care if the NYT's lack secrecy means more Americans death."
-Click on my name. If you can watch the whole clip without feeling stupid, kudos.

Dave E,
"Maybe it's just because you jokers are in your last throes."
-please don't joke. If you mean last throes like Dick did, we're all gonna be fighting 'the long war' or the GWOWN (global war on wingnuts)

Right Wing Robby:

Since your both reading from the same talking points, its ok for you to answer for him mike.

You realize you just increased Olbermans ratings by 15% when I clicked that link?

Tue Jul 11 2006 5:17 PM

Dave E.:

mea culpa...shoulda been spelled deficit. you got me, and i feel terrible and stupid now.

and i didn't think anything of it at first, but since we're parsing grammar now...

i'd certainly like to know what delay would do if forced on the "ballet". like, would he even be able to stand on his toes? or even come close to executing a pirouette? frightening visuals, they are.

doh!

mike: yeah, that was a shout out to the big dick.

Tue Jul 11 2006 5:20 PM

Dave E.:

and it's 'you are' or 'you're', not 'your' and 'it's' or 'it is' rwr. also, 'olbermans' needs a possessive apostrophe. tisk tisk.

i vaguely recall some internet wingnut say once: "BTW you should never complain about peoples comments unless yours is perfect. You just look foolish."

words to live by, rwr.

Right Wing Robby:

GRAMMAR WARS!

I dont attack grammar, just making the point. A point which has clearly evaded you.

Tue Jul 11 2006 5:48 PM

Dave E.:

Clearly, I don't speak wingnut.

The force of reason constrains my mind from performing the leaps in logic and mental gymnastics required to keep all of Dear Leader's Constitutional transgressions and overall vindictive right wing rhetoric squared with any rule of law.

And by the way...if you wanna read "angry," look for NJ's "I shit on everything!" post awhile back. It's worthy of the straight jacket treatment.

Me? I'm just a concerned citizen that has witnessed a systematic dismantling of the framer's concept of separation of powers and the Constitutional protections from the tyranny of government. All done by politically exploiting 9/11. Yes, that makes me angry, party politics aside. I would be just as angry if Democrats were behind it.

Tom from Madison:

Thanks Dave for staying on task even as RWR attempts to make an issue of your typing, Keith Olberman's ratings, and the total nonsense about the New York Times.

Neo-cons keep trying to play the game of manufacturing unproveable charges on the fly and acting like everyone on the other side has the burden of proof to debunk them. This is a load of crap! No wonder the country is abandoning King George and his failed policies.

Bush failed to protect us in the first place. Bush launched a failed war. Bush will never end it himself. He won't accept responsibility because he lacks the moral character to admit he's done anything wrong. Dried out drunks delusional drunks act this way. Real men accept the consequences of their actions. We all know who George Bush is and what he is. We can and must do better.

Mike of the Great White North:

"You realize you just increased Olbermans ratings by 15% when I clicked that link?"

Then you better start logging on FAUX.com and start clickin on O'Liely's links. His ratings are dropping since last year.
